Discuss slice dimensions, drying, moisture, cleanliness and packaging. If your equipment has specific requirements, communicate them before the sample is prepared.
The supplier should know whether you are evaluating the slices as a finished ingredient or as an input for further processing.
When Turmeric Powder May Fit

Particle size matters. Specify the required mesh or particle-size description, and confirm how conformity will be assessed.
